Charities Stand Small Over Violence
So many charities are standing small next to the violence in Charlottesville and the well balanced condemnation of President Trump.
The latest idiocy is from Leaders In Furthering Education, LIFE who set up a fund-raiser at the Mar-a-Lago in Florida. After President Trump stood tall and condemned all sides who took part in the violence in Charlottesville the widow of National Enquirer moved the venue and date. The only real problem is that Paul Anka did not want to participate in such idiocy. He will not only NOT be performing at the new venue and date he will NOT be returning the $75,000 deposit.
Deposit was for a date certain and a performance on date certain. You loose Lois Pope! That deposit is lost because not everyone sees that only one set of violent activists should be allowed to be violent. Trump was right and certainly had valid reason to condemn all violence and it came from all sides.
You can do what you want and change dates as you want but do not expect others to feed into your dementia.
