EU Interfering in Belarus Pushing Regime Change

Ursula von der Leyen Pushes For Regime Change

Aug 19, 2020 15:00GMT

Ursula von der Leyen stood at a press conference and declared the EU will be “Facilitating a peaceful transition of power” in Belarus using 53 Million Euros and sanctions.

Ursula von der Leyen yesterday called Vladimir Putin to warn him to not interfere with the EU’s efforts at regime change. After talking to Vladimir Putin last night the president of the EU decided to ignore the words from Putin when he said “no one should be interfering in elections of other nations.” He left his options open but warned von der Leyen that the EU had no place interfering with the politics and elections in Belarus.

EU Hands 53 Million To Opposition

So it was surprising to hear her today talking about 53 million euros to change the government in Belarus and that 2 million would go directly to the Coordination Council who was formed yesterday and has its’ first meeting today, after getting their first rounds of funds from the EU. She also made it clear that all nations in the world must adhere to EU morals and that arresting protesters will not be tolerated, except in the USA. The EU declared itself the arbiter for validity of any election even if it does nothing to observe them. The EU decided that it can interfere in all nations it cares to interfere with.

Wife of Opposition Flees, Claims Presidency

Taking a cue from Venezuela the opposition leader, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya ,who fled to Lithuania on her own volition and out of her own paranoia, wants to declare she is president and won the election (she was not even running). ‘I will believe my own eyes,’ says Svetlana Tikhanovskaya after commission says Alexander Lukashenko won a landslide victory in the elections.

Tikhanovskaya said she considered herself the winner, not Lukashenko, and described the election as massively rigged. “The authorities should think about how to peacefully hand over power to us,” she said. “I consider myself the winner of this election.” Which is why she fled her country.

EU Outside Interference Will Not Work Well

Perhaps the EU wants to take a page out of the USA book of how to overthrow a government? Or maybe they should learn regime change by outsiders does not work and leaves a vacuum where terrorist come in to fill that vacuum?

The sanctions have so for not been spelled out. What is sure? That the EU is determined to effect regime change at any cost as it interferes in other nations elections and issues.
