While she took part in some of the recent Democratic Party Debates the ruling elite have downplayed her candidacy in favor of the aged stable corrupt elites like Biden. Tulsi Gabbard is a military combat veteran with 16 years service, in combat zones, having served in Iraq and Kuwait. Her outlook and understanding of international interventions comes from first hand experience instead of depending on our questionable Intelligence Services or the fake news controlled by the war hawk elites.
Tulsi Gabbard was born and bred into politics as her father is a member of the Hawaii Senate. We can imagine the conversations at the dinner table. Her ability to advance in all aspects she chose in her career takes her through to being elected to the Hawaii House of Representatives. She is now the US Representative for Hawaii since 2013.
Tulsi Gabbard has a proven track record in opposition to the Trans-Pacific Partnership as well as interventionist policies including in Iraq, Libya, Venezuela and Syria. She resigned her position of VC on the DNC complaining she had “checked (her free speech) at the door” taking that job. After seeing what Clinton was doing she quickly left and endorsed Bernie Sanders.

Gabbard has called for breaking up the big tech monopolies and targeting “big tech companies who take away our civil liberties and freedoms in the name of national security and corporate greed.” She has called for for federal level decriminalization of cannabis, end to private for-profit prisons, and comprehensive prison reform. She has called for restoring the Glass-Steagall Act, breaking up too-big-to-fail banks, strengthening protections against predatory lending practices, increasing capital requirements for the nation’s largest banks, and banning naked credit default swaps. We hope she addresses the creation and trade of “derivatives” also since their value is nothing – they are derivative from things of value but are a fake creations to grow the Wall Street Casino Culture.

When it comes to our nations support of Saudi Arabia despots over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, Gabbard tweeted at Trump, “being Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First.” In furthering her insight into our rather strange partnership with a despotic brutal dictatorship in Saudi Arabia as they destroy their neighbors in Yemen she stated “The U.S. must stop arming Saudi Arabia, stop fueling this fire and hold Saudi Arabia accountable for their actions.”

All in all Gabbard is something special running for the presidency. We here at NYCTV now endorse her as the Democratic candidate for the presidency because she can win. She has the right ideas, She does not have the long term ties to the military industrial complex that others, like Biden, do. And she just might bring a more secure and peaceful world.
While we endorsed Trump at the last presidential election we would be happy to endorse Gabbard. You may ask why? Because the promises of non-intervention, bringing banks to account, stopping the “swamp” from controlling the government have not ended under Trump as he promised. The problem with the many other candidates from the Democrats is they are more interested in removing Trump than bringing our nation together using real politic focused on issues rather than on pretending Trump, as a man, is all they have to beat.
