Zohran Mamdani Set To Win Mayoral Seat

The New York City mayoral race is all set to place current Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani as Mayor of NYC. Mamdani is polling at 44% with no one else coming close. His message of bringing together New Yorkers, bringing the budget under control, with a focus on lowering the cost of living in New York City. He is the only candidate who will be working for NYers from day one. He will not go to Israel to support New Yorkers while New Yorkers need a strong leader here, not in Israel.

The former Governor, Andrew Cuomo, who left the Albany government in disgrace, is polling only 25%. It is apparent that he leans to the bankers, Wall Street, and ready to go to Israel as his first act to support New Yorkers.

Next is the incumbent Mayor Eric Adams polling at a dismal 7%. His legacy being supported by who knows what? He no longer even has a party willing to back him. But somehow he thinks he can make a difference as he too, will go to Israel as his first action for New York Citizens.

The general election is scheduled for November 4, 2025. I should note Republican Curtis Sliwa (long known for his work with the Guardian Angels) will also be running. While his long history of street action is well known, I think many in NYC do not have the confidence he could run the whole city. He also would go to Israel as his first action for New York Citizens.
