NYC TV is doing the perfect
NYC TV is doing the perfect job by setting up this new page. It will make more users traffic in the website and also it's a very interesting stuff for people who just couldn't sit in front of their Television for long time and Internet is the right place to go for it.
This fashion week is pretty awesome and there are many new fashion designers able to present their style of clothing here. The fashion accessories from replica handbag, bag, watches is just also to be seen.
Let's hope to see more updates in NYCTV sooner. :)
NYCTV Coverage of Fashion Week 2009
The TV coverage of Fashion Week was just sad. More time was given to the openings and what went on behind the scenes and "expert" opinions than the actual fashions themselves.
When the fashions were shown, very, very briefly at that...the camera people seemed to focus on the feet of the models...or the tush and sometimes the middle area. The clothes themselves were made to seem as unimportant and not the source of the program, as they should have been.
I am unaware of the experience of the people assembling the mess that you offered, but everyone needs work. Fashion Week is always about the clothes.
My assumption is that the film of the models and what they wore was so very poor that the fillers were edited in so that it was not too painful to watch. Well, it did not work...it was torture to watch you bypass the clothing and show how unprofessionally camera work can be.
Congratulations on awful coverage of this event. In a time when we should be pumping up the fashion industry, you made it look like a haphazard, silly experiment that went bad.
I do not think I will be able to watch Fashion Week on your station again.
Many viewers look forward to seeing what is going on in this industry, twice a year, and you have managed to make this a waste of time and unimportant.
Sad Coverage of Fashion Week
I must agree with you. However NYCTV.com did not cover the event directly and just reports what it can find from other sources. It is a shame the city's TV network did not give it a better going but perhaps they are too busy creating commercial stuff for NBC and ABC? I am not sure.
I will talk to the boss about trying to partner with the NYC governments TV to do better coverage for the next one. We did try to work something out with one of the companies to do deep coverage but they deferred our offer to work with the governments TV.
We have nothing to do with the governments TV network. We cover NYC entertainment, politics and have an open video-sharing site here at http://www.nyctv.com/share/ all user supported.
Perhaps you would like to enter some articles, video or reportage? We would be happy and proud to accommodate.
