Governor Paterson Adultery, Cocaine, Marijuana Ok For Polititians
Things get dark before the dawn. After Eliot Spitzer resigned office in disgrace he left behind his Lt. Governor David Paterson to clean up New York State. New Yorkers and America hoped that David Paterson would light the hope that the corrpupt government of New York would finally see its day. But things turn from bad to worse as Spitzer’s protégé David Paterson and the media try to mix the message of just what is a scandal.
David Paterson thinks that the state is like a church. If you tell it all your crimes you are forgiven and blessed to be a virgin again. You do not do the time for the crime if you adimit it when exposed.
It seems everyday he comes up with a new revelation. First he took the oath of office to gain certain immunities. The next day he tells the press he had an extramarital affair. That affair then stretched into many, many affairs over 10 years. We are now faced with a governor who knew he was an adulterer before he took office and waited to disclose when he already knew he was on the same moral sands as Eliot Spitzer. A multiple adulterer. Perhaps Spitzer has the upper hand as he paid for his wares while Paterson is an actual philanderer.
The press seems to glance over that so Mrs Paterson says she does it all the time too! Holy Bullwinkle will it get any worse. Family values out the window we are waiting to find out that David Paterson pimps for his daughters. Seems the press and the government want to make cheating, adultery and lying all as everyday things that are no problem, long live Governor Paterson! There is no mention from Paterson or the press for any resignations. Are we all so tired of lying cheating adulterers that we will exalt them to our leadership?
But it keeps getting deeper. David Paterson went beyond just being the adulterer when he seduced one of his state underlings, almost a Clintonesque sort of thing except he did have sex with that government employee under him in all ways.
Wait, you thought that is it? Stop the Paterson bashing? it goes on as he now admits to the occasional snort of cocaine and hit on a nice marijuana joint. Hey people there are laws that put you and me in jail for less and this man is let to continue to make and enforce laws that he does not have to follow. This is all wrong. Government is not above the law in the Constitution that kind of abuse only happens in corporations.
It is time for Eliot Spitzer’s good buddy and fellow in moral bankruptcy David Paterson to take the high road out of town. It would stand to reason that all the people around Eliot Spitzer would share the same values and it is now showing.
